Home Town Heroes Cookie Bouquet

For those who are familiar with the area I live in, you may remember that on Labor Day a huge wildfire broke out in our town.  The fire was active and causing mass destruction for ten days!  After the fires were contained there were many celebrations held to thank our hard working emergency personnel for saving our town, homes, pets, and lives.  This was a time that our community really showed some Texas love and spirit and pulled together to help in any way possible.  A friend of mine held a huge celebration at her family's event center that was saved in the middle of that fire.  I donated this cookie bouquet as a door prize for this event.  This was my first cookie bouquet, and I am pretty darn proud!  I am always happy to donate to our community!

All wrapped up and ready to go!

Is it a Cupcake or an Ice Cream Cone?

I baked a cupcake inside of an ice cream cone!  This is great fun!  I made a strawberries and cream cake batter and poured it inside of ice cream cones.  Once it was done baking I topped it with cream cheese frosting and some sprinkles!  YUM!

Pink High Heel

For the shoe lover in your life, what is better than a bright pink high heel?  This birthday cake is perfect for any shoe diva!  I even added some glitter for some extra bling!

A Mickey Birthday

My youngest LOVES Mickey Mouse, so it only seemed appropriate to make a Mickey cake!  We used chocolate icing instead of black, because I personally think chocolate is MUCH tastier!  So, with an ice cream cone birthday hat on top, it is ready for a birthday!

Cakes for Our Troops

I support our troops and their families in any way I can.  For a fundraiser for a local chapter of military families I donated 25 mini-cakes.  These cakes were sold to those who attended the fundraiser and all monies went to the families of soldiers that are deployed overseas.  Here are a few pictures of some of the cakes.  Each cake was decorated in a patriotic theme.  God Bless America!

Everyday Super Hero!

All boys love Super Heroes!  This cake was made for "Super Byron" as he turned 4 years old!  I carved the cake to look like a t-shirt and fashioned a cape from fondant to attach to the back!  What a fun idea for the little hero in your life.

Girly Graduation

This cake was to celebrate a huge milestone in a young woman's life...High School Graduation!  The graduation cap in the corner I made out of solid chocolate and decorated with icing.  The flowers gave the cake that girly flair!
